Your resume never leaves your browser
The builder on this site is entirely client-side. The resumes you build never leave your browser: your content is saved only in this browser’s local storage and your PDF and .docx files are generated on your own device. We run no resume database, we never upload your resume, and we never see it. Use the JSON backup in the builder to keep your own copy.
Cookies and analytics
We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count page views and understand which guides and examples are useful. If advertising is enabled (see below), the ad provider may set cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; the site and every download keep working without them.
Advertising
This site may display ads through Google AdSense to fund the free tools. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Ads never appear on the builder page, and never next to a download.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This applies to two kinds of links: the resume-writing-service links in the “If you’d rather have a pro write it” block on example and guide pages, and the disclosed builder links on the two comparison pages. Affiliate relationships never change a tested finding: we report each builder’s paywall and export behavior exactly as we test it, and the builder and every download on this site stay free regardless.
