Executive ATS Resume Template

The Executive template is the most formal design: a large centered Georgia name, ruled uppercase headings, generous margins, and authoritative spacing. It is built for senior leaders, directors, and VPs presenting enterprise-scale impact. Despite its presence, it stays single-column and ATS-safe, and downloads free as DOCX or PDF with no sign-up and no watermark.

Why it parses cleanly

  • The commanding look comes from type size and spacing, never from columns or graphics.
  • Georgia at twenty-four point for the name is still standard text a parser reads as your name.
  • Ruled uppercase headings use real heading styles, so leadership sections are tagged correctly.
  • Generous 0.9-inch margins sit safely inside the printable US Letter area.
  • Single column throughout, with the contact block kept in plain body text.

FAQ

Does the large name and spacing in Executive waste space an ATS needs?

No. A parser reads the name as text at any size, and the generous spacing affects only the visual layout, not extraction. The design assumes a senior resume where presence matters more than packing the page edge to edge.

When should I pick Executive over the Professional template?

Choose Executive when your role is genuinely senior — director, VP, or C-suite — and you want the larger name and roomier spacing to signal that level. Professional is the better fit for mid-career managers who want polish without the extra grandeur.

Can an Executive resume still fit on one or two pages?

Yes. Senior resumes commonly run two pages, and Executive's spacing reads cleanly across the break. If you must stay to one page despite a long career, Compact tightens everything for that, at the cost of this design's presence.
